WHen I was in school, running and catching a moving bus was the mark of coolness- many a time did I do that. On one occassion I was on the footboard when the bus was fairly empty- the conductor came by and said that "hawa khane ka hai to bus rokenge" Now, there are very few buses on the roads- cars are the overwhelming majority of vehicles, and no one even tries those stunts.
