When I visited Turkey with students a few months ago, one of my students would race me, and would beat me as well. Today I had a few
kids in my backyard and all of them wanted to race me. I could not keep up with the 4 to 8 year
olds. I can still run distance, but the sprints are a kid's game. At the end, good times were had by all, punctuated with a healthy helping of
Häagen-Dazs.
